The DeKalb Library Foun­da­tion pro­vides sup­port to DeKalb Coun­ty Pub­lic Library beyond pub­lic fund­ing to enrich the lives of DeKalb Coun­ty cit­i­zens through edu­ca­tion­al, cul­tur­al, and lit­er­ary pro­grams and services.

Tax dol­lars pro­vide books, staff, and oper­a­tional expens­es. The DeKalb Library Foun­da­tion rais­es approx­i­mate­ly $300,000 a year to fund pro­grams and ser­vices not cov­ered by tax dollars.
