Ways to Support

You can show your sup­port for the Library in sev­er­al ways.
Gen­er­al Dona­tion-make an unre­strict­ed gift to the library.

Recog­ni­tion Gifts- make a dona­tion in hon­or, in cel­e­bra­tion or in mem­o­ry of a friend, col­league or loved one. Books will be placed in the library with a spe­cial book­plate hon­or­ing the named indi­vid­ual. An acknowl­edg­ment card will be sent to a not­ed designee inform­ing them of the gift.

Library Branch Gift- make a dona­tion to sup­port your favorite library branch.

Direct Deb­it- you can choose Bank Account (Direct Deb­it) when you click Pay­ment Type when you donate online. You can also choose Cred­it Card. 

Donor Advised Funds (DAF)- as a 501c3 non­prof­it orga­ni­za­tion, we can accept DAF dona­tions. If you need infor­ma­tion from us to set this up, email Jill Joplin at joplinj@​dekalblibrary.​org.

Give a Gift of Stock - email joplinj@​dekalblibrary.​org for instruc­tions on donat­ing stock.

Planned Gift- you can include the DeKalb Library Foun­da­tion in your future plans. Con­sid­er a gift like this to impact gen­er­a­tions to come. Con­tact Jill Joplin if you are con­sid­er­ing this option. 

You can also ​“Buy a Book” for the Library. If you notice a series or a book is miss­ing from our col­lec­tion, in the Com­ment sec­tion of the dona­tion page add the names of the titles and authors, and we will attempt to add the titles to the collection. 

The DeKalb Library Foun­da­tion, Inc. is a 501c3 non­prof­it orga­ni­za­tion sup­port­ing the DeKalb Coun­ty Pub­lic Library. Your tax-deductible dona­tions sup­port library pro­grams, lit­er­a­cy ser­vices, and the book and mate­ri­als collection.
